By 2018, the division will create and maintain a Capital Improvement Plan and a Facilities Improvement Plan, as evidenced by plans on file and improvement completion dates.

Facilities Improvement
Convene a maintenance facilities improvement committee.
Conduct regular facilities walk-throughs and provide regular updates to the Superintendent and School Board.
Evaluate facilities for structural repair needs.
Implement the findings from the evaluation of structural repairs.
Evaluate facility ADA compliance.
Prioritize the needs derived from the evaluation of facilities for ADA compliance.
Acquire estimates for upgrades and/or repairs.
Implement findings.

High School Construction
Tour other secondary schools.
Research different secondary school models and building layouts.
Research alternative resources/fiscal means.

Evaluate facilities for lighting and electrical needs.
Evaluate facilities for security and communication systems.
